Search is evolving

Search split into Google and AI answers. Most brands only optimize for one.

Buyers still compare links — and increasingly read a single written answer from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot. Each needs a different kind of work.

Then · ten blue links

You compete for a position.

Rankings, clicks and Search Console. Still the foundation — AI systems retrieve the pages that search engines can find.

Now · one written answer

You compete to be included.

“…teams often shortlist Your brand for technical SEO and AI visibility work.[1]”

The answer may mention you, cite you, recommend you — or leave you out. Measured by sampling prompts across platforms.

Ranking
Your page’s position in a list of links. Stable, measurable, reported by search engines.
AI-generated answer
A written response assembled from retrieved sources. It may satisfy the question without a click.
Brand mention
Your company is named inside the answer — with or without a link.
Source citation
One of your pages is linked as evidence for part of the answer.
Recommendation
The answer suggests your brand as an option the person should consider.

Our methodology

Our AI search optimization process: discover, analyze, optimize, measure.

Visibility work is a loop, not a project. Each cycle starts from what the last one measured.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the brand, market, buyers and your current visibility in search and AI answers.

  2. 02

    Analyze

Identify the SEO and AI search opportunities — technical gaps, missing answers, entity issues and citation sources.

  3. 03

    Optimize

Improve content, technical foundations and brand authority, in priority order.

  4. 04

    Measure

Monitor visibility, citations, organic performance and business outcomes — and feed what we learn back in.

How we compare

Choosing an SEO and AI search agency, honestly.

A fair view of the options most teams weigh up. The right choice depends on your team and goals.

Why Prisol

Why Prisol for SEO, AEO and GEO: credible work, honestly measured.

We are a focused Hyderabad team that works on one problem: how businesses are found and described across search and AI. Here is what that means in practice.

01Search expertise first
Hands-on search work since 2016. We treat AEO and GEO as extensions of search fundamentals, not a replacement for them.
02Technical depth
Crawling, rendering, indexation, structured data and crawler policy — we read the HTML, the logs and the vendor documentation. We also build our own tools, like our free SERP Simulator.
03Content strategy
Question-led topic maps and answer-first writing that serve readers and answer engines alike.
04Entity & brand authority
Consistent company facts across your site, structured data and the third-party sources AI answers cite.
05Data-driven decisions
Search Console, analytics and repeated prompt sampling — not hunches or single screenshots.
06Transparent reporting
Every number comes with its source, method and limits. We tell you what we did, what moved and what didn’t.
07Continuous experimentation
AI search changes monthly. We test, measure and adjust rather than selling a fixed playbook.

How we report a case study

Baseline
Where visibility stood before we started — rankings, organic traffic, AI mention and citation rates — with dates and sources.
Work
What we changed: technical fixes, content, entity data, outreach. Specific enough to be repeatable.
Outcome
What moved, measured the same way as the baseline, with period, data source and caveats.

Client case studies are being prepared with our clients’ approval and will be published here.

FAQ

SEO, AEO and GEO: frequently asked questions

Short, straight answers. Each links to a longer explanation where one exists.

What is AI search optimization?
AI search optimization is the practice of improving how a brand is found, described and cited in AI-generated answers — from ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews and Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. It combines technical SEO, answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization. More on AI search optimization.
What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?
GEO is the work of improving how generative AI systems mention, cite and recommend your brand in the answers they write. It focuses on consistent entity information, original content worth citing and genuine references from third-party sources. Read our GEO explainer.
What is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)?
AEO structures content so search features, voice assistants and AI answer engines can find a direct answer to a question on your page, extract it accurately and attribute it to you — answer-first writing, clear headings, specific facts and visible credibility.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO optimises your pages to rank in a list of results. GEO works on how your brand is represented across all the sources AI systems draw on, including sites you don’t own. GEO builds on SEO: AI search tools retrieve web pages, so pages that can’t be crawled or found are unlikely to be used.
How can a business improve its visibility in ChatGPT?
Allow OAI-SearchBot to crawl your public pages, publish clear and specific answers to the questions your buyers ask, keep your company facts consistent across the web, and earn genuine mentions on the sources ChatGPT tends to cite in your category. There is no paid or technical shortcut, and nobody can guarantee inclusion.
How do AI search engines cite websites?
AI search products that browse usually run one or more web searches, retrieve a set of pages, write an answer from them and link some as sources. Pages that are accessible, clearly written and directly relevant to the question are more likely to be used. The exact selection logic is not published and changes over time.
Does traditional SEO still matter?
Yes. Organic search remains a major source of traffic, and AI search features depend on crawlable, well-structured, authoritative web pages. Strong SEO is the foundation for AEO and GEO.
How do you measure AI visibility?
We run a defined set of realistic buyer prompts repeatedly on each AI platform and record whether your brand is mentioned, recommended or cited, how accurately it is described, and how that compares with competitors over time. We report method and limitations with every number. How we measure it.
